Students will explore a variety of techniques (carving,
casting, and assemblage) and will also use a variety of media
involving clay, metal, styrofoam, cardboard, wood and plaster
to solve three-dimensional problems in a unique way. Students
will be asked to use creative solving approaches and design
knowledge obtained from Art Exploration as well as strong
craftsmanship skills to produce strong sculptural forms. Good
work habits are important for success in this class.
