This course is an introduction to computing with an emphasis on improving productivity and communication through the
effective use of available technology. Students will acquire computing skills to increase personal productivity in problemsolving,critical thinking, and information management through the use of available software packages designed for office applications and telecommunications, including the Blackboard course management software, Microsoft Windows 7, and Microsoft Offi ce 2010— Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. This course meets the Foundation Studies General Education requirement for FHSU.
