healthy eating

This class is designed for the student who has basic
knowledge of food preparation and is motivated to explore
health concerns. Topics such as nutrition facts and fads, diet
weight management, label reading, informed shopping, and the
adaptation of recipes for healthier cooking will be addressed.

Can be taken for 1/2 health credit.)

Prerequisite: Basic Food Prep. or junior/senior status
