Production and Woodworking Techniques
This is a course of study designed to allow the student to
further enhance woodworking skills. Students will experience
in greater depth the skills and practices needed to prepare for
a career in various fi elds of the wood production industry.
Students will study advanced applications for joinery, fi nishing,
special operations, design and they will have the opportunity
to construct a project of their choice.
Fee: $10 (individual charge for various projects with 1/2
due before beginning the project remainder to be paid upon
completion of project)
Grades: 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: Woodwork Fundamentals, Mechanical
Engineering I
Year: 1 credit
Supplies: safety glasses, fi nish materials
