Marching & Concert Band

The HHS Marching and Concert Band participates in many activities of the school and community throughout the year. These include football halftime performances, marching festivals, parades, pep band, music festivals, and concerts. It is through these
activities that students are able to refi ne performance skills. There is also opportunity to participate in solo, ensemble, and jazz ensemble performances. The student’s grade is determined in part by participation in performances. The concert band and jazz
band rotate years for overnight trips pending adequate fundraising.

Fees: Marching shoes and t-shirt (approx. $37), Percussion $10
Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: Middle School Band
Year: 1 credit
