Marching & Concert Band
The HHS Marching and Concert Band participates in many
activities of the school and community throughout the year.
These include football halftime performances, marching
festivals, parades, pep band, music festivals, and concerts. It is
through these activities that students are able to refine
performance skills. There is also opportunity to participate in
solo, ensemble, and jazz ensemble performances. The student’s
grade is determined in part by participation in performances.
The concert band and jazz band rotate years for overnight trips.
Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: Middle School Band
Year: 1 credit
Supplies: marching shoes and t-shirt (approx. $37)
