Advanced Video Production/IHT
Students may apply and interview for a position on Hays
High School’s Channel 13 broadcasting, video production,
and/or video editing team. This course is designed to meet
the individual needs of students as it relates to advanced
study in communication systems and multimedia production.
In collaboration with the advanced radio & TV class,
students will participate in video projects to include internal
school announcements, public television, and other short segments.
Applications may be obtained from instructors or the
Guidance Offi ce.
Grades: 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: Instructor permission, video production studies
and application
Semester: 1/2 credit
Supplies: 2-9 volt batteries, 2-DVC high quality tapes
