Digital Photography
After a brief discussion concerning the history of photographic
imaging, students will learn the various aspects of digital
photography, including the use and selection of equipment
and how to take quality photographs. Students will shoot a
variety of assignments designed to illustrate the principles
of good composition. They will learn the basic use of Adobe
Photoshop to digitally managed and manipulate their photos
and the basic use of Adobe InDesign to create photographic
design projects.
Fee: $20 (covers color printing charges)
Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: none
Semester: 1/2 credit
Supplies: Students must provide own camera. Digital
preferred. Film camera acceptable, but students must bear the
cost of fi lm and processing onto CD Rom.
