Newspaper
Students work together to produce Hays High’s newspaper,
The Guidon. Course requirements include staff organization,
publication planning, reporting, newswriting, editing, layout
and design, and meeting all production deadlines. Students
must apply for a position on staff.
(Can be taken for computer credit.)
Grades: 10, 11, 12
Prerequisites: Journalism and/or instructor approval
Year: 1 credit
