
On October 13, 2009, the Kansas Department of Education announced that Hays High School has again made the “Standard of Excellence” in the areas of Math and Reading. Not only did HHS achieve this outstanding achievement during the 2008-2009 school year, this marks the FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR that our students have received this recognition!
Congratulations to our awesome student body and their exceptional teachers! While many schools of similar size struggled to make the minimum standard of “Adequate Yearly Progress”, HHS continues to excel!
