FHSU Concurrent Credit Eligibility Requirements
- Have scores on the ACT math subtest and the ACT science subtest that combine for a total of 40 or higher, and have at least an 18 on both subtests;
- OR have a score of at least 15 on the FHSU math placement exam.
To enroll in FHSU concurrent credit classes, EXCEPT College Algebra, a student must meet ONE of the following:
a) ACT Composite Score of 21
b) Combined verbal & mathematical score on the SAT Reasoning Test of at least 1000
c) A Selection Index score on the PSAT/NMSQT of at least 150
d) A STAR Reading score in the 50th percentile or better
e) A composite score of at least 21 on the PLAN test
Barton Community College and NCK Tech do not require a test to enroll in their Concurrent Credit courses. However, students should not enroll in Concurrent Credit unless they have a minimum core grade point average of at least “C”.
