Production Welding Processes II (B)

This class will build on what was learned in Production Welding Processes II (A). The students will also be learning to GMAW (Mig) and GTAW (Tig) weld in the vertical and overhead positions. The plasma cutter will be used in more advanced procedures involving: gouging, beveling, and blowing holes. We will also continue making class projects such as small trailers, cattle panels, repairing items for the school and other skills and activities that present themselves.
Fee: $20 (Additional fees may be incurred based on the number of projects a student completes.)
Grades: 11, 12
Prerequisite: Production Welding Processes II (A)
Semester: 1/2 credit
Supplies: Paint pen, safety glasses, long sleeve cotton shirt
